Students, would you like to receive free registration for the OLA Annual Conference?
Volunteers are needed for the 2008 Oklahoma Library Association Annual Conference, April 21-23 in Tulsa. A student volunteer
willing to work two hours at the conference will receive a complimentary one-day conference registration.
This is a great way to get to know the organization and meet future colleagues (and maybe a future employer!) in the state's professional library and information studies community.
Volunteers are needed as greeters, to work in the Bookstore, to staff the Friends of Libraries in Oklahoma (FOLIO) information booth, and to work at Registration. If you are available and interested in volunteering, or if you have questions about this
volunteer opportunity, contact Dr. Danny P. Wallace (dwallace@ou.edu). Volunteers will be accepted until February 8, 2008. Please indicate the specific day(s) and time(s) you will be available to volunteer.

provide workshops and conference
programs which initiate and continue the education of librarians in all

disseminate information to aid those starting out in librarianship, but

present information about new and emerging areas to aid librarians
already
established in the field.

Education Division meetings are open to all members of the Oklahoma
library community who are interested in the prospects, problems, and
processes of advancing professionalism for librarians and library staff
