Meeting was called to order by Chair Jon Woltz at 1:35 P.M.

Approval of Minutes

Minutes of the December meeting were approved as written.

Committee Reports

Workshop Planning Committee

1. Spring Workshop. Paperwork completed and the OLA Board approved this workshop at its December meeting. The CEU's have also been approved. The flyer will be sent to Kay by the end of the week. The members present decided on the menu choices. Marketing strategies were discussed.
   

OLA Conference Planning

1. Posters and Presentations. These are set.
2. Sessions. The "Buried Treasures" has been set. For the session on Adaptive Technologies in Libraries, staff from the Oklahoma Library for the Blind will make one of the presentations.

Electronic Communication Committee

The minutes are being posted to the web site. Jon is sending meeting notices and minutes to the OLA list.

Nominating Committee

The ballot has been sent to Kay.

 

Other Business

Sites for upcoming meetings

Next meeting is set for Tuesday, February 15, 2000 at 1:30 at either the Stillwater Public Library or the Conference Room in the Edmon Low Library on the campus of Oklahoma State University, Stillwater. Watch your email for the location.
