What’s Happening?!

Session Description: 
This fast paced session will walk you through new ways (and remind you of ones you've forgotten about) to collaborate with teachers and engage students. We will share real successes (and even admit to some flops). We will cover a wide variety of digital resources including, itunesu, youtube, google classroom, google keep, Ed Puzzle, widgets, extensions and various web-based apps & tools. join us for an hour of "What's happening"

Tina Hamm and Stephanie BrucksSpeakers:
Tina Ham and Stephanie Brucks are librarians at Will Rogers College High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Will Rogers serves students in 7th through 12th grades with Tulsa Community Classes offered on campus to Juniors and Seniors.  Both Ham and Brucks have over 20 years’ experience in public education ranging from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade,  And both have been in libraries for over 15 years each.  Both are Nationally Board Certified Teachers most recently renewing our certification in 2015.  Brucks and Ham have presented many times  at Encyclo- Media, Oklahoma Library Association Conference, MIM (Making Information Meaningful) Conference through Tulsa Community College and to district librarians within Tulsa Public Schools . 
Ham & Brucks enjoy collaboration, using variety of technologies, trying out what’s new, using Google, incorporating Web 2.0 tools and web sites in lessons and planning.  They are both honored to have received Teacher of the Year at their school sites and also the prestigious Polly Clark award from Oklahoma School Librarians.
