Games, Glitz, and Glam!

Sponsor: Social Responsibilities Roundtable

Gaming fans: there's no need to hunt for the local casino for a little pre-conference action! For a voluntary donation, you can join Social Responsibilities Roundtable for the linguistic thrills of Scrabble, the entrepreneurial rush of Monopoly, or the strategic exhilaration of chess. We may even break out a pack of cards for "Dewey Rummy!" Each game will be sponsored by a library vendor. Feel free to dress to the nines, or just come wearing your sensible shoes. Libations and snacks will be provided! All donations and sponsorships will help fund the Ruth Brown Memorial Award to encourage and recognize programming that addresses issues of social concern as they impact libraries, library collections, and the communities served by these libraries.
