Opening General Session

Join us in opening OLA’s 2006 Conference.

In the First General Session members will be welcomed by Keith Michael Fiels, Executive Director of the American Library Association.

Bill Knott, Director of Colorado’s Jefferson County Library, will present the Keynote addressing advocacy issues. Bill has been the Director of the Jefferson County Library since 1971. Over the past 34 years Bill has guided the library from face to face services to online services in the 21st century.

Joining the meeting will be Linda Williams, current President of the American Association of School Librarians.
