Me & Miss Brown Luncheon

Sponsor: SRRT

Celebrate Ruth Brown, one of our Oklahoma Library Legends, as actor Morris McCorvey transports us back to a time when libraries were not open to everyone. McCorvey's performance of a middle age black man impacted by Miss Ruth Brown reveals how just one librarian can change history for one man and then for us all. Help honor Miss Brown's legacy by being present for the drawing for the Oklahoma Centennial quilt being raffled in support of the Ruth Brown Memorial Award.
