OLA Banquet

Join us as we welcome Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson and his wife Linda Edmondson to the 101st Annual Conference. The Edmondson’s, life-long library supporters, will make this a banquet to remember!

Speakers: Drew Edmondson, is the current Attorney General for the state of Oklahoma and has been since 1994. Before his election as Attorney General, Edmondson was elected to three consecutive terms as Muskogee County District Attorney. He served one term in the Oklahoma Legislature before entering Law School and is a Navy veteran. Drew is the son of former U.S. Congressman Ed Edmondson and June Edmondson. He grew up in Muskogee and Washington D.C. He is a graduate of Northeastern State University and has his law degree from the University of Tulsa. Drew has been a long time library supporter and has previously been a speaker at OLA workshops and for the Legislative Luncheon. Linda Edmondson is a social work consultant and community volunteer. She is co-chair of the Attorney General’s Task Force to Improve End of Life Care in Oklahoma and previously was executive director of the Oklahoma Association for Healthcare Ethics. Edmondson speaks and writes extensively in Oklahoma on end-of-life issues. She serves on the board of the Oklahoma Center for the Book, the Center for Poets and Writers at OSU Tulsa, and the Oklahoma Nature Conservancy.

Of Interest to all.
