Information Matrix Camp 2007

Sponsor: Interlibrary Cooperation Committee and Career Recruitment and Retention Committee

Rose State College and the Oklahoma Library Association received a 3 year grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services to implement an information science/library camp for middle school students in Oklahoma. The first camp, held in July 2007, offered campers a variety of experiences including a library scavenger hunt, behind the scenes tours of several area libraries, blogging, journaling and scrapbooking, and meeting not-so-stereotypical librarians. Come hear tales from the 2007 Information Matrix Camp... you'll wish you were young again!
