October 17th the Grove Library began. |

14th the library moved to a larger room. |

In January
a large donation from the estate of Elinor Egee was received.
The Grove Library Board was incorporated. |

In December
the library jointed the Eastern Oklahoma District Library
System. |

The library
is enlarged. |
| 1985 |
Grove Area
Literacy Council was established in September. |
| 1988 |
The Library’s
open house at the new location on Elk Street was held in
December. |

Received
a fax machine trough ODL. |
| 1991 |
First year
of five year Long Range Plan. |
| 1992 |
Library
was automated using Dynix. |
| 1997 |
Library
staff started state Certification classes. Acquisitions program
purchased and ordering started to be done electronically through
the
Dynix System. |

The library
went on the internet. |
| 1999 |
Received
universal service funds and an 800 number. |
