One Book, One Association
I encourage Oklahoma libraries to participate in the first “One Book, One Association” reading event for annual conference scheduled March 31-April 2, 2014 at the Tulsa Southern Hills Marriott. OLA has purchased 100 copies of “Beyond Wow: building essential service-leadership approaches to exceptional customer service performance and relationships” by Myra Golden (Opening General Session speaker) and Jeffrey Magee. Ms. Golden will also lead a discussion of this book at the Tuesday luncheon. A copy of the book can be made available to your library for your staff to read prior to conference. If your library is able to purchase a copy, the cost is $19.95. If you are not able to purchase a copy but still wish to participate in the “One Book, One Association” reading event, we have copies that have been purchased through the generosity of OLA vendors. Please contact me to request a copy.
