Oklahoma Poet Laureate, Francine Ringold as our featured reader for the Poetry Reading. "Literacy Legacy," a report on literacy challenges in Oklahoma and how libraries can help, presented by Leslie Gelders, Literacy Coordinator for ODL. "Recruiting for Diversity," a co-sponsored program with the Recruitment and Retention Committee with a speaker from the Chicago Library System.
Table Talk, co-sponsored with Ethics Committee: "Un-deserved or Underserved: Bringing Non-Users Into the Library" with SRRT's own Karen Antell of the OU Engineering Library facilitating the discussion.
Ruth Brown Memorial Award Winner: the Robert M. Bird Health Sciences Library for their Reach Out and Read program which helped provide books for young children through their visits to participating doctors.
