From the President:
Register today to be a part of the 2013 OLA Annual Conference in Ardmore, OK! As you browse the pages of this site, I feel confident that you will find many programs of interest. Regardless of whether you work in an academic, public or school library or are a beginner or seasoned veteran, we have sessions for you.
Staying true to our "Be the Change" theme for the 2013 annual conference, we've decided to do it a bit differently. Those interested in riding the train to Ardmore are encouraged to do so as our Local Arrangements Committee has made arrangements to and from the train station to the conference center. This year we are offering several master classes that will provide you with opportunities to discuss key professional issues with experts in the field. We will hold our Membership Meeting as a no-conflict program on Friday morning with the conference door prizes being awarded in the final programs on Friday afternoon. We are also combining forces with FOLIO to offer an all-conference lunch on Friday which will provide you with an overview of current legislative issues in the state. For those wishing to unwind after conference, consider staying an extra night in Ardmore and visiting the WinStar casino with your colleagues Friday evening.
Come prepared to learn, to network, and to create new memories with your Oklahoma colleagues! I hope to see you there!
Sarah Robbins, 2012-2013 OLA President
