Patron-Driven Acquisitions Panel Discussion

This is a panel discussion by experts from three different libraries, explaining how they have used Patron-Driven Acquisitions Systems in their libraries. Scott Freeman will talk about how Overdrive is used at the Stillwater Public Library, Rich Paustenbaugh will talk about how JSTOR is used at the Oklahoma State University Library, and Cathy Blackman will talk about how Ebrary is used at Cameron University.
Scott has been at the Stillwater Public Library since 2009 and is now the Head of Adult Services there. After a 20 year career in a completely unrelated field, he completed the MLIS at the University of Oklahoma in 2010. He currently serves as the Chair of the High School Sequoyah Committee and is the Past Chair of the Intellectual Freedom Committee.
Cathy has been a librarian at Cameron University for 15 years, starting out in Interlibrary Loan and Circulation and then moving into Cataloging. She also teaches library instruction classes and works at the reference desk. She has been active in OLA throughout her professional career.
Rich is the Associate Dean of Libraries for Research and Instruction Services at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. He has been active in OLA for many years.
