What's Exciting in Adult Programming!

Come discover the exciting world of adult programming. This presentation will help you discover new and exciting resources to use as a programmer. From Pinterest to your Chamber newsletter, programming ideas are everywhere. Along with many exciting and low cost ideas for adult programs, we will discuss the importance of marketing and look at new and innovative strategies to get adults in the seats. The final part of the program will be a brainstorming/Q&A session. Jackie Kropp is the Adult Programming Librarian for the Moore Public Library, a branch of the Pioneer Library System. In her years at Pioneer Library System she has taught computer classes at the Norman library and worked in the training department. She is currently a member of the OLA Continuing Education Committee and previously served on the Local Arrangements Committee. She was a participant in the 2010 OLA Gold Leadership Institute and was part of the inaugural class of Impact PLS. She has two masters’ degrees from the University Of Oklahoma, in Library and Information Studies and in History of Science.
