Throwing Darts: Programming Ideas for the XY Population
Date: April 4, 2013
Time: 2:45 p.m.
Sponsors: Children and Teen Services, Oklahoma School Librarians
Maureen Goldsberry will moderate a panel of CATS members who will present "sure-fire" programming ideas for teen and tween boys. CATS has collected ideas from librarians around the state and compiled a list of ideas of activities for boys that have shown great success in their library. Not to worry, while these ideas are aimed at boys, girls will also enjoy many of the activities. Ideas will be presented and handouts will be available.
Maureen Goldsberry is the Library Media Specialist at Alcott Middle School in Norman, OK. Maureen has a Masters of Education with Reading Emphasis from SUNY at Fredonia, NY and a Masters of Library Science from SUNY at Albany, NY. She is a member of the Oklahoma Library Association and Alcott PTA.
