Will Rogers Memorial Museum is a magnificent museum of native limestone overlooking the city of Claremore and honoring famed humorist and philosopher Will Rogers (1879-1935). Learn about his life, wisdom and humor while exploring the memorabilia at the museum including his saddles and art. Listen to radio replays or watch one of his 71 motion pictures.
Will Rogers, born November 4, 1879, was the son of a Cherokee senator, judge, and cattleman. Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch is a living history ranch. Step into the two-story log walled house built in 1875 and view the authentically conserved birthplace of Will Rogers. Stroll the grounds where Longhorn cattle and other livestock roam on the 400-acre spread located on the shore of Lake Oologah.
