Kris Helge will explain the different kinds of Creative Commons licenses and their use, including how to create this kind of license to label print and digital works. The CC public domain license, how courts have viewed CC licenses, open access, and copyright issues will also be covered.

Serving in this position Kris deals with copyright, open access, plagiarism, and licensing issues. He also currently manages the government documents department at the University of North Texas. Kris earned a J.D. from South Texas College of Law, an M.L.S. in Information Science from the University of North Texas, a B.A. from Baylor University, and is currently earning a Ph.D. in Information Science at the University of North Texas.
