Before Calypso Gilstrap established residency as a school librarian at Norman High, she taught middle and high school for eight years (English/Speech, Drama, and Debate). Since graduate school, Calypso Gilstrap has been a member of OLA/OKLS and is currently Past Chair for OKSL and President Elect for OLA. She is married to Rob, the Newcastle High School principal, and has three kids, Ali, Ian and Aspen.
Martha Pangburn has been a school librarian for 16 years, 9 of which have been at Norman High School. She has a Master's Degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Oklahoma (although she often says, "Go Pokes") and a Bachelor's of Science in Education from Oklahoma Baptist University. She achieved her National Board Certification in 2005, and recently renewed her certification through 2025. Martha has presented at local and state conferences, including OTA/Encyclomedia, the OLA Conference, Innovative Leadership Institute, iCon, SPLASH, GET FIT, and the Oklahoma Social Studies and Fine Arts Conference.
