In partnership with customer intelligence specialists OrangeBoy, Inc., the Pioneer Library System will describe their ongoing efforts to develop a mobile platform. OrangeBoy founder Clark Swanson will describe the market trends necessitating this effort and what it means for libraries both locally and nationally. Attendees will learn how nationwide trends in mobility are impacting the relationships cardholders have with their libraries and what steps they can take to stay in step with local needs.
Clark Swanson, Chairman & Founder
Clark Swanson started OrangeBoy, Inc. in 1996 with the idea of employing applied mathematics to help clients realize their business goals. He has consulted with clients in a variety of industries, including financial services, health care, cultural and civic organizations, philanthropy, and retail. Currently, his practice focuses on monetizing market segmentations relative to the top and bottom line. Prior to founding OrangeBoy, Clark headed the Ohio Historical Foundation, the fundraising ally of the Ohio Historical Society. Clark worked in the Economic Research Division at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City before joining the foundation.
