Leanne Cheek is the Teen Selector and Coordinator for the Pioneer Library System. She earned her Master of Library and Information Studies in 2009 from the University of Oklahoma. Leanne has served as the chair for the Intellectual Freedom Committee for the past two years. She is a ravenous reader of romance, graphic novels, and teen fiction while dabbling heavily in random adult non-fiction and memoirs.
Jackie Kropp is an Information Services Librarian at the Moore branch of the Pioneer Library System. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 with her MLIS and Master’s in History of Science. She has served on the OLA Continuing Education committee for three years, two as chair. She loves books about science (especially those with obscenely long subtitles) almost as much as she loves romance novels. Recently she has discovered a passion for audiobooks, particularly celebrity autobiographies read by their author.
Kirsten Walker is the teen librarian at the Southwest Oklahoma City Library. She graduated with her MLIS from OU in 2009, and has been with the Pioneer Library System since then. Kirsten serves on the Intermediate Sequoyah Reading Team and loves YA fiction. She is an avid romance reader, but has only recently admitted her addiction and hopes to help others discover their love of love stories.
April Miller is the Librarian/Assistant Professor at McMahan Library on the Sayre campus of Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She earned her Masters of Library and Information Studies in 2010 from the University of Oklahoma. April has served on the OLA Marketing Committee for seven years, two as chair. She has a passion not only for reading (especially if it has a snarky character, or is part of a series), but also cooking, arts & crafts of various types (lately crochet) and genealogy. April loves to travel with her husband, particularly to National Parks, and enjoys teaching her toddler all the great things about being a nerd.
