Kari Rains has many years’ experience in Child Development and Education.  She is dedicated to providing educators, administrators, librarians, parents and other caregivers with the knowledge and research that supports best-practices when working with children and adults, especially those that struggle in the areas of Social and Emotional regulation like ADHD and special needs.

Kari RainsKari Rains is a Certified Child and Parenting Specialist and Child Development Specialist with over a decade of clinical work in the early intervention program provided in the state of Oklahoma. Kari is known for her fun and entertaining style of speaking which provides practical solutions to those working with children struggling with social and emotional regulation issues.  She has served as an adjunct instructor, published two books, as well as numerous research articles in the field of child development to include articles in Child Care Information Exchange. Kari earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her master’s degree in Child Development, both from Oklahoma State University.
