Share |

Date: Wednesday, April 29
Time: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Sponsor: Children and Teen Services (CATS)

This is a drop by the table and check out the program session. A variety of program ideas will be showcased by different CATS & other members; much like a table talk.  Members will be able to glean ideas from all over the state on what is happening with youth programming.

Adrienne Butler is the Youth Services Consultant for the State of Oklahoma. With 25 years with library experience and 20 years and counting as an employee at the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, she’s been a page, circulation clerk, circulation manager and a reference librarian. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she received degree in Sociology and a Masters of Library and Information Science. She is a member of Rainbow Fleet, OLA, the Collaborative Summer Library Program, ALA, YALSA and ALSC. She has volunteered for five YALSA committees including the 2012 William C. Morris Committee (“Where Things Come Back” by John Corey Whaley), 2013 & 2014 Quick Picks for Reluctant Readers, and 2015 Printz Award. She is one-fifth of the Children and Young Adult Book Review Podcast which offers collection building reviews for librarians who serve youth. She prefers to read during televised football and basketball games sitting on her new couch. She lives in Edmond, OK with her husband, she is chauffeur-designate for her two teenage girls, and her own personal book collection is her favorite type of pet.
