Participant Observations: A New Approach to Interacting with Library Patrons
Sponsored by PLD
This session will teach attendees to be participant observers. This invested approach is necessary as we develop ways to serve library patrons in the 21st century. Specific anthropological tools will be addressed in this interactive discussion. Adopting this approach is important for the future of Oklahoma libraries.
The objective is to broaden our cultural understandings. This is significant as Oklahoma libraries serve patrons that are new to Oklahoma.
