Session Description

Join librarians from the Norman and Tulsa Public Schools and faculty members from the University of Oklahoma School of Library and Information Studies for a discussion about school librarianship in the 21st century. Panelists will discuss school librarianship certification requirements, the OU SLIS school librarianship curriculum, and share best practices for various levels of collaboration. This interactive session will provide audience members the opportunity to share their ideas about the requirements, skills.and competencies needed to be an effective school librarian in the 21st century.
