Today's College Students and Academic Research Skills
Sponsored by Vendor Relations
With the pervasiveness of the Internet, mobile devices and constant connectivity, today's college students are just a click away from finding "information".
But how useful is it and what is its place in academic research? Gale has conducted primary research aimed at measuring the gap between college students' assessment of their research skills and faculty and employers' assessment of the same. This session shares their research, probes why it matters and offers one way to address gaps using current technology - and best of all, the library.
