Springing Forward: Creatively Using LibApps for Knowledge Management, Collaboration and Outreach
Sponsored by UCD
In this session, three librarians will describe a model for using LibApps, a common library platform, to facilitate collaboration and outreach within and beyond the library. Discussion will include how they used LibGuides to build a new website, develop a Knowledge Management System, and provide effective access to both academic and administrative resources. Additionally, they will describe how they used LibAnswers to enhance their virtual reference service and build relationships with other departments across the College. Specifically, this discussion will focus on the planning, implementation and outreach efforts.
To provide attendees with a model for using various LibApps in unique ways to create both collaboration and outreach opportunities, all while improving knowledge management.
