FOLIO'S 40th Anniversary luncheon

Lunch is included in conference registration, but pre-registration is required for speaker sessions.  Seating is limited for these sessions.  If space is not available or you do not pre-register, you will attend the all-conference buffet lunch.

Books will be available for purchase and signing. FOLIO will also present Best Friends, Scholarship, and Hall of Fame Awards, and recognize Friends of Libraries Week winners and Seed Grant recipients.  RESERVATIONS REQUIRED; additional charge for those not registered for conference.

Rilla AskewRilla Askew is the author of four novels, a book of stories, and a collection of creative nonfiction, Most American: Notes from a Wounded Place. She’s a PEN/Faulkner finalist, recipient of the Western Heritage Award, Oklahoma Book Awards, and a 2009 Arts and Letters Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Her novel about the Tulsa Race Riot, Fire in Beulah, received the American Book Award in 2002, and was selected for Oklahoma’s One Book One State reading program. Askew’s essays and short fiction have appeared in Tin House, World Literature Today, Nimrod, Prize Stories: The O. Henry Awards, and elsewhere. She teaches creative writing at the University of Oklahoma. Books will be available for sale and signing.
