An architect and a project manager will share with participants low cost solutions to creating a welcoming and inviting space in your library and how to improve the overall customer experience.

Morgan JonesMorgan Jones, a registered architect, is the Manager of Planning and Assessment at Metropolitan Library System where she is responsible for Long-Range Planning, Capital Projects, and Organizational Assessment. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma Christian University. In 2013, she was part of an architectural team that took first place in the AIA SFV IDP Design Competition to “design of a Neighborhood Library of the future;” this launched her interest in library design and operations, prompting her to join Metropolitan Library System in November 2016. Combining her formal business education with her 7 years of professional architectural experience, she approaches the Library’s planning needs from an analytical perspective, employing proven tools and metrics to facilitate systematic, proactive decision-making while balancing organizational needs, wants, and budget.

Leslie TaborLeslie Tabor is a seasoned project manager with diverse experience and a passion for team development and vision-guided results. She is currently ADG’s project manager for NORMAN FORWARD, the Cleveland County Master Plan, and the City-County Strategic Parking Plan for the City of Norman and Cleveland County; she is also a member of the MAPS 3 team. Leslie has coordinated multiple capital projects, developed and led successful community engagement campaigns, and has organized and orchestrated the operations of various libraries in diverse communities. She builds positive relationships with government officials, boards, committees, business leaders, and civic groups and values their role in successful projects and programs. Leslie holds an MSLIS from Syracuse University and was Associate Director for Neighborhood Libraries – Manhattan East for The New York Public Library before joining ADG.
