The 2016 Gold Leadership Institute focused on Influence & Emergent Leadership to prepare participants to exert influence regardless of positional authority by exploring the following concepts:
- Leadership & Management
- Emotional Intelligence
- Effectiveness & Influence
- Personal Growth
- Involvement in the Oklahoma Library Association
A class of 24 OLA members was selected through a competitive application process.
The group will met periodically via online participation for 6-8 weeks prior to the Institute for discussions and to begin building a shared platform of knowledge.
Participants will also created, collaborated on, and launched an OLA-related service project.
Participants left the Institute with an action plan to guide their leadership journey.
Anyone who was ready to take their leadership skills to the next level was welcome to apply.
