Voting for the 2017 Sequoyah Book Awards began on February 1 and will continue until March 15.
Schools and libraries once again have a choice in voting. You can vote either by ballot or let your students vote individually online.
Ballots voting is done by letting the students vote and the librarian collating the votes and submitting the results on the OLA website. You must report all votes for each title for your ballot to count. If you only report the votes for the winning book at your school, your ballot will be disregarded. Report your votes using the following forms:
Online (Individual) Voting
Online voting is done by individually targeting students. Librarians will be welcome to share a link with students so that they can vote on their own. Please remind them of the honor code and they should only vote once.
Deadline for Voting
All votes must be submitted by March 15, 2017.
