Thanks to Mary Evans, University of Tulsa, who conducted the
annual electronic salary survey. Kudos also to Charles Brooks,
University of Tulsa, who continues to serve as the UCD
webmaster. I appreciate all of the members who have attended
meetings, shared ideas, made suggestions, and supported this
busy agenda. Special thanks to David Oberhelman who did yeoman
work all year coordinating the ILL workshop, UCD Poster
Sessions, Contributed Paper Sessions, and answering many
questions.
The UCD listserv provided valuable communication to all members.
Electronic voting selected the pre-conference title. Seven
face-to-face meetings were held in Tulsa, Stillwater, and
Midwest City
Plans for next year include a winter workshop. Topics under
consideration are Knowledge Management, partnering with OK
Special Library Association on how to get published, and
partnering with OLA Legislative Committee on lobbying and PACs.
UCD will determine OLA conference program ideas for 2006. UCD
also hopes to be a part of the suggested Interlibrary Loan
statewide group. 2005-2006 will continue the UCD commitment to
professional development and cooperation with OLA divisions and
round tables to provide relevant and interesting programming.
