were approved by acclamation.
Officer nominations
Cathy
Blackman and David Oberhelman are working on nominations for
chair-elect and secretary. Michele Seikel volunteered to run for
either position.
Silent Auction Basket Ideas
This year,
smaller baskets that won’t be so expensive and can be purchased
by regular people (poor librarians) are preferred, so David will
coordinate a small basket with the Star Wars theme, and Evlyn
will coordinate the Round Table basket.
We will
work on the baskets more at the February meeting.
Workshop
Registration will be available on the OLA website for the first
time, and our workshop will be the test case for Charles’
registration form. A copy of the flyer will also be on the web
page. Marc Carlson will do the basic ILL introduction,
Demystifying ILL. Pat Weaver-Myers will do the keynote session
in the morning. Debra Engel will do the middle management
session, and Linda Edmondson will speak on staff relations. All
of them are confirmed, and Evlyn will moderate the panel
discussion. The speakers for the Evaluations sessions still must
be contacted. Melissa Huffman is contacting City Bites to do the
catering on Jan. 29th. Everyone working on the
workshop details will meet on Jan. 5th at the Tom Steed
Center at Rose
State to figure out the logistics and inspect the rooms. Time for that
meeting will be announced by David Oberhelman.
Refreshments volunteers:
Jo Daniel

cookies for afternoon break.
