            Mark your calendars now for Sun., Oct. 14, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. for the Oklahoma Centennial Parade. Watch it echo this legacy: - Oklahoma - A Unique History…An Extraordinary Future. The parade will wind down the streets of Oklahoma City and be broadcast over OETA.  Volunteers are needed.

            The goal of this Website is to promote pride in Oklahoma.  Under “Reasons to Believe”, test your knowledge of Oklahoma with instructions on downloading the quiz.  This would make a good class activity with the students researching those areas they aren’t familiar with and then taking the quiz online.

            Designed as a research and educational center, this 215 acre site is located seven miles northwest of downtown Tulsa.  It will become one of America’s most diverse botanical gardens, with 15 major gardens encompassing at least 60 smaller gardens and dozens of special features and structures.
