OASLMS Mission Statement

The purpose of the Oklahoma Association of School Library Media Specialists (OASLMS) is

A.     To bring together school library media specialists for a concerted effort to improve school library media programs in the state of Oklahoma.

B.     To stimulate professional growth by offering workshops on topics of concern to school librarians.

C.     To plan and present annual conference programs of significance to school library media specialists.

D.     To cooperate with other divisions, roundtables, and committees which have activities common to the services of school libraries.
