OLA-SRRT: Planting the seeds of social responsibility for 35 years.
Mission
Our mission is to encourage and recognize the initiation and
development of programs that seek to bring library service to
individuals normally not served within a community.
Ruth
Brown Memorial Award
In 1996, SRRT initiated the Ruth Brown Memorial
Award to encourage and recognize programming that addresses
issues of social concern as they impact libraries, library
collections and the communities serviced by these libraries. Recipients of the award arerecognized with a
plaque and $500 check at the OLA annual conference.

Handouts
TheLibrary Services to Adults with
Developmental Disabilities Workshop, held Wednesday, February 22,
2006, at the Stillwater Public Library was a success and informative.
We Learned ways to meet the unique needs of patrons who have
developmental disabilities and how to do more outreach to serve these
patrons at our libraries. Click the above link for posted handouts
