The conference will be held March 13-15, 2019 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Norman Hotel & Conference Center in Norman, Oklahoma. Sequoyah Award Reservations

Sequoyah Book Award LogoThe Oklahoma Library Association Sequoyah Book Award Author Celebration honoring Mindy McGinnis for her book, The Female of the Species, the 2018 High School Sequoyah Award winner, will be held at 10:00 a.m., March 13, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Norman Hotel & Conference Center. Book signing will follow the award presentation. To make reservations, complete the reservation form.

OKSL Webcourse: Understanding the Shared Foundations in the Learner Framework

OKSL LogoRegister now for a new webcourse offered by OKSL that takes an in-depth look at the new School Library Standards for Learners by exploring the six different shared foundations. You will have the opportunity to learn about and discuss one shared foundation per week, collaborate with other librarians and work to infuse current lesson and unit plans with ideas that correlate with the new standards. The webcourse will take place over seven weeks, beginning January 14 and ending March 2. Each week will explore a different shared foundation. Learners may enroll in the course through February 15th.
