OLA Fun Night 2019 with the Oklahoma City Dodgers!

OKC Dodgers logoOn June 8, 2019 OLA will be taking over the Devon Deck at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for food, fun, networking and to cheer the Oklahoma City Dodgers to victory over the Fresno Grizzlies! Tickets cost $41 each and include an all-you-can-eat buffet and beverages, including a keg of beer for the group to share. You’ll also get a cool Dodgers hat and see OLA's name in lights on the big screen! This event is open to family and friends, so grab tickets for them, too! CATS Workshop: "Diversity in the Library"

CATS logoRegistration is open for the 2019 Children and Teen Services Roundtable workshop, "Diversity in the Library: Working for All Children and Teens". During the course of the workshop you will learn how to better serve all of your children, teens and families by interacting with guest speakers who offer special services and diversity programming, hearing from an Oklahoma author who strives for cultural sensitivity in children's lit, and touring a new library and discussing accessibility. 2019 Sequoyah Book Award Winners

Sequoyah Book Award LogoThe Sequoyah Committees are pleased to announce the winners of the Sequoyah Book Awards for 2019:

  • Children’s: A Dog Like Daisy by Kristin O'Donnell Tubb
  • Intermediate: Refugee by Alan Gratz
  • High School: The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

The Donna Norvell Award winner is Can I Be Your Dog? by Troy Cummings.
