OLA University & College Division Workshop

Digitization on a Shoestring

Learn how librarians from all types and sizes of institutions initiate and complete digitization projects using resources already available in their libraries. Speakers will focus on best practices and give insights and tips on how to carry out digitization projects under a realistic budget with their current personnel.

The workshop is co-sponsored by Oklahoma Department of Libraries and the Oklahoma Historical Records Advisory Board who awarded a limited number of scholarships to cover the registration fee for anyone–student or non-student–who wanted to attend this workshop. The due date for applications was January 27, 2020, and five scholarships were awarded.


When: Thursday, February 27, 2020, 9:00 AM - 3:45 PM

Where: Oklahoma Department of Libraries, 200 NE 18th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73105. Large 2nd floor Conference Room.

Cost: $65 (OLA members) / $30 (student members) / $130 (non-OLA members)

Deadline to Register: February 20, 2020

CEUs: 0.60

Lunch: Box lunch catered by McAlister's Deli.  (Please indicate any dietary preference and/or restrictions on the registration form.)
