Graphic Design for Library Marketing

Tuesday, April 24, 2018
1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Diplomat Room

A well-designed poster or flyer can go a long way toward the success of library marketing. In this session, we will go over some basic design theory and discuss tricks that can be used in a variety of software platforms. We will also discuss how to best utilize the skills of your library staff, including how to recruit help from creative staff members and how to communicate with graphic designers. Librarians don't need to be master artists to produce compelling images for their libraries!

Presented by: Casey Lowry
Sponsored by: Marketing Committee
Areas of interest: Marketing, Technology
