Too many Oklahomans lose a big part of their lives when they give up trying to read due to poor eyesight or physical limitations. But there is another way to enjoy books, newspapers and magazines again – and it’s completely free through the Oklahoma Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. This presentation will cover how the library’s free services work and who qualifies, plus a demonstration of the digital Talking Books and player.

Presented by: Brian King and Kevin Treese
Sponsored by: Public Libraries Division
Designed for: Public, Special libraries

While earning his degree in Journalism at the University of Oklahoma, Brian became a professional journalist. The first half of his career included 14 years as a TV news producer in Oklahoma, plus experience in radio and writing for newspapers and websites.
