Session Description:
Political Savvy, Office Politics, Social Intelligence...whatever you call it, we all need certain skills in order to get ahead in our careers. Let’s discuss what skills are needed to help us be successful leaders in our organizations.

Sheila CrosbySpeakers: 
Sheila Crosby is the Principal Librarian and the Program Services Department Manager for San Diego County Library. She has led both the Encinitas and Solana Beach branches for SDCL after her library start with the Pioneer Library System. As the Program Services Manager, she helps all 33 branches and 2 bookmobiles with programs, county wide staff trainings, and volunteer services. She believes in positive, solution based leadership which drives her decision making. She was honored to be selected to attend the ALA Leadership Institute this last summer. She looks forward to increased contributions in the library field and hopes to help elevate SDCL to even higher levels.
