Graduate Scholarship Fund: Scholarships to graduate students working toward an MLS are offered each year
Legislative Fund: Monies contributed to this fund are used to support library advocacy efforts
Ruth Brown Memorial Fund: Encourages and recognizes programming that addresses issues of social concern as they impact libraries, library collections and the communities serviced by these libraries
Endowment Fund: A project to raise funds for OLA’s permanent income generating endowment
Minority Conference Scholarship: Assistance to members of underrepresented groups who are currently employed as paraprofessionals or part-time library staff or working toward a library-related degree to attend the Annual Conference.


University and College (UCD) - a forum for library personnel who serve academic communities.
Oklahoma School Librarians (OKSL) - a forum to improve school media programs in the state.
Public Libraries (UCD) - a forum for study and discussion of problems, activities, and coordination of services.


Supervisors, Managers, Administrators (SMART) - serves members interested in administration of all types of libraries.
Children and Teen Services (CATS)- supports library personnel serving children and teens.
Government Information (GIRT) - for anyone who works with government information, GIRT promotes the use of E-government resources from all governmental sources, including federal, state, local, tribal, and international websites and depository programs.
Information Technology (ITRT) - promotes awareness of practices, trends, and developments in technology and providing electronic information.  Plans and presents the biennial iCon technology conference.
Social Responsibilities (SRRT) - encourages and recognizes the initiation and development of programs that seek to bring library service to individuals normally not served within a community.
Technical Services (TSRT) - studies the activities, problems, services and trends relating to acquisition, identification, cataloging and preservation of library materials.


Auditing - annually examines the financial records of the Association.
Awards – recommends individuals to be recognized for meritorious achievements in librarianship at the annual conference
Budget and Finance - prepares and submits to the Executive Board the budget for the fiscal year.
Career Recruitment and Retention Committee - develops activities and projects to further recruitment and retention to the library profession.
Constitution and Bylaws - prepares revisions to the Constitution and Bylaws as directed by the Executive Board and President.
Continuing Education - encourages and facilitates the development of high quality continuing education programs for the membership.
Endowment Fund - oversees the operation of OLA’s Endowment Fund and promotes donations and creates activities and events to raise money for the Fund.
Ethics - endeavors to increase the awareness of ethical practices for OLA members.
Mildred Laughlin Festival of Books - Plans, coordinates, and executes the Mildred Laughlin Festival of Books biennially.
Intellectual Freedom - protects the freedom of individuals to make their choice of library materials and brings restrictions in this area to the attention of the Executive Board.
Leadership Institute (OLA GOLD) - inspires and develops future leaders for the Oklahoma library community by planning and presenting library leadership institutes.
Legislative - coordinates the legislative activity of the Association.
Membership - carries out statewide promotional activities to encourage membership in OLA.
Nominating - selects a slate of candidates to run for office.
Presidential Initiatives - formulates a long range strategic plan for the Association, annually reviews the plan and provides an ongoing evaluation of the Association.
Program - selects the theme, speakers and all programs for the annual conference.
Resolutions - accepts, reviews, and presents resolutions for consideration by the Association membership.
Scholarship - disseminates information about the OLA Scholarship for Graduate Study, seeks and screens applicants and awards scholarships.
Sequoyah Book Award - implements the selection of the winning books and develops the guidelines for the program.
Sites - recommends to the Executive Board locations for the Annual Conference.
Tribal Libraries , Archives and American Indian Collections (TLC) - Promotes relationships among library personnel in all types of libraries and those who work in Tribal Libraries or archives.
Vendor Relations - Promotes greater communication between OLA and vendors.
